The die sinker of this token is unknown. This was the only token issued by the town of Durand, Illinois. This Civil War Store Card bore two unique surfaces instead of being combined with the more common reverses. For some reason, the word ‘Crockery’ was misspelled and never corrected. Yet, this token was well accepted and can be found in uncirculated states.
