This Civil War Store Card from Bowling Green, Indiana is ascribed to the shop of John Stanton. These tokens are the only known merchant tokens issued from this town. Stanton  was the most prolific issuer of Civil War tokens in Cincinnati. His work was centered on stamp cutting and branding.
